DEVELOPMENT SQUAD

4 sessions per week (Recommended to attend 2-3) - $90 Per month or $80 per 10-sessions 

Criteria:

•  Swimmers aged 5 year or older being introduced to competitive swimming whether it be club nights or Swimming NT Meets

• Member of Darwin Swimming Club (through swim central) 

• Payment upon entry into the pool (through YMCA)

• This group focuses on drill/skill development in all four competitive strokes. Education on racing skills (Starts, Turns, Finishes)

• Distance: 800m – 1500m per session

• Required Equipment: fins, kick board, pull buoy, goggles, water bottle 

Session Times:

Monday           3:30pm – 4:30pm

Tuesday           3:30pm – 4:30pm

Thursday         3:30pm – 4:30pm

Saturday          8:00am – 9:00am

 Development squads run during school term.
